Are you fond of Scandinavia and want to improve your language skills? Or are you planning a trip to the north and would like to order your coffee in the local language? Here is an overview of our short language courses, each with three lessons: from basic and travel vocabulary to grammar rules, pronunciation tips and further learning materials, everything is included.
When you learn a language, you also learn something new about the people who speak it. Language learning gives you a unique insight into the culture of each country!
Most Scandinavian languages are closely related to each other. Swedish, Danish and Norwegian are so similar that you can even understand them all in part, even if you have only learnt one of them!
As Germanic languages, they are also very close to German and English. Like Icelandic, they come from Old Norse, although the Icelandic language is much closer to its origins.
Finnish, on the other hand, belongs to the Uralic language family, which can also be found in Hungary and parts of North Asia, for example.
