ferm LIVING: An up-and-coming designer brand from Denmark
The story of ferm LIVING begins with a coincidence – when looking for wallpaper for her own four walls, label founder Trine Andersen couldn’t find what she was looking for and decided to design her own wallpaper without further ado. What began in 2006 with ten wallpaper designs developed rapidly over the next few years into one of the most up-and-coming brands in the Danish design world, offering stylish products in a wide range of categories.
In doing so, ferm LIVING focuses primarily on the contrast between avant-garde shapes, soft natural and pastel colours and curious details, often with a graphic touch. The authentic products are intended to inspire people to create their very own world in their own home, regardless of trends. The Copenhagen-based label not only combines Scandinavian design with international influences, but also attaches great importance to sustainability.
