Eva Solo is a Danish brand with tradition – the family business has been in existence since 1903 and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership. The company is named after the daughter of founder Kai Rohde Fog: Eva. Early on, Eva Solo developed modern and functional kitchen utensils – over time, these became more and more customised. In the 1970s, the company finally began producing stylish kitchen utensils that are also real eye-catchers.

Tools Design
The Danish design studio Tools Design was founded in 1989 by Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbæk and has been a true figurehead for Danish design ever since. The motto ‘something extra’ can be found in all products, such as the Nordic Kitchen collection from Eva Solo.
Ole Palsby
Ole Palsby’s (1935-2010) concern was quality in everyday life – his products should not only be useful helpers, but their design should also showcase food and drinks in the best possible light. The Dane, who also worked with Rosendahl as well as Eva Solo, was influenced by Japanese culture and its Zen philosophy, for example.
