Aida: Timeless Design
Although the history of Aida dates back more than 60 years, the Danish design house is now more relevant than ever. With a keen sense of contemporary aesthetics and in close collaboration with renowned designers such as Christiane Schaumburg-Müller, C.F. Møller Architects and Karim Rashid, it creates durable collections made of stoneware, porcelain, glass and stainless steel.
Aida: Collections
RAW
Rustic and timeless
The RAW collection from Aida was developed in collaboration with designer Christiane Schaumburg-Müller and brings rustic stoneware to the table in a modern form. Each piece impresses with its handcrafted look, natural colours and individual glaze – no two pieces are alike.
Whether plates, bowls or mugs: the RAW series can be combined in many ways and is as stylish as it is practical for everyday use – robust, dishwasher-safe and absolutely timeless.
Enso
Minimalist and elegant
The Enso collection from Aida combines clean lines with gentle curves – designed by renowned architectural firm C.F. Møller. Inspired by the Japanese symbol for the circle, the design stylishly combines Nordic simplicity with Far Eastern harmony. Made from high-quality porcelain, Enso includes plates and cups as well as cutlery and tableware sets. The dishwasher-safe and stackable tableware has been awarded the German Design Award – functional, elegant and made for everyday use.
Aida: Danish design with character
For over 60 years, the Aida brand has been synonymous with modern, functional tableware design. Based near Aarhus and backed by an experienced team, the Danish label develops high-quality tableware, cutlery, glassware and kitchen accessories that bring stylish table culture to everyday life.
Aida is best known for its wide variety of collections, including classics such as Atelier, Denmark’s best-selling tableware series since 1984, and the popular RAW series, designed by Christiane Schaumburg-Müller. This series combines rustic stoneware aesthetics with modern design and builds on the traditional expertise of the former Søholm ceramics manufacturer, whose archives and specialist knowledge were taken over by Aida in 1996.
But Aida doesn’t just look back: with collections such as LIFE IN COLOUR, created in collaboration with internationally renowned designer Karim Rashid, the brand sets fresh accents – colourful, creative and trend-conscious. Whether colourful glassware, recycled placemats or playful porcelain – Aida proves that good design and everyday practicality can go hand in hand.
With a keen sense of trends, strong design partnerships and a focus on quality and affordable prices, Aida is now an established name in modern tableware – in Denmark and far beyond.
